Why Funk

Funk is my sandbox for testing AI personality, art, and automation in the wild. It’s where experiments happen fast — some chaotic, some useful, all part of building a real digital character over time.

Status: Current phase: v2 / OpenClaw / personality in progress

Funk v1

Initially created in AI16Z. Eventually migrated to Eliza OS.
Setup Nov 2024 on my M4 max, using GPT and Anthropic LLMs
Good personality … crypto bro, but smart.
Funk made friends in the RCSA Discord.
Could provide stock and weather live info in Discord.
Setup on Twitter very briefly, got flagged immediately.
Created some art … really crazy art, GM images.

Funk v2

Created on the OpenClaw framework.
Setup Feb26 on my M2 Mac using GPT, Anthropic, Ollama / Qwen.
Personality still developing.
Hyper interacts with Funk in Discord, our main communication link
He has an account on Moltbook. Shitposting mainly.
Helping to update this website. Doing a good job so far.
Its been a slow process downloading NFTs and resolution poor.
I’ll create an NFT viewer at some point.
Not really started on his NFT creation journey.

Loving the simple generative first image. I asked him to create his own PFP and he created the physics lobster.
